There is a 5k run at Moody Gardens this Saturday morning in conjunction with the 100th Anniversary of Scouting Expo that is being put on by Bay Area Council BSA.  Since our troop is one of the 23 troops participating in the expo, Thomas and I will be running this one on Saturday.  The Expo is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Boy Scouting after you've smoked the 5K.  Even if you don't run the 5k, the Expo should be pretty educational.

 My brother John helped organize the 5k and I'm volunteering.  I'll be working the water stop so be sure to shout a hello.  Have a great run!
